This variety produces attractive pink flowers, followed by pretty purple pods. Pick early while the peas are still sweet and fresh. The plant will produce more if picked regularly. Keep watering during dry spells. May require some extra tying in and support as plant matures and stems get heavier. Can be eaten as mangetout when very young.

Growing Info:
Sow inside Feb-March in pots or guttering, 4 cm deep . Acclimatise to the outside once the risk of frost has passed. Alternatively sow outside in April and May into a flat bottom rill 5 cm deep and 10 cm wide. Space the peas 5 cm apart and allow 60 cm between the rows. The plants will require support to climb, pea sticks or netting works well.
Aftercare:
Protect seedlings from birds, the plants will require support such as hazel pea sticks or netting.
