Growing Info:
Sow between Oct-Nov or Feb inside in pots or in situ protected by cloches. Alternatively sow outside in Mar-Apr. Sow 5cm deep. If direct sowing, sow in rows or double rows, 23cm apart and between rows. Water well. Broad beans like full sun, protected from winds in rich, fertile soil. Stake stems as they grow.
Aftercare:
Broad Beans may need staking as they grow, to deter black fly pinch out the growing tips after the first flowers have set pods.
