This classic Italian tomato is grown world-wide. It has a low water content, making it excellent for creating passata sauces. Can be grown outside or in a greenhouse. It requires support from a cane and regular side-shooting. It goes on to produce large trusses of elongated, fruits with a delicious flavour.

Growing Info:
Sow inside in good well draining seed compost from Feb-April. Keep in propagator ot a warm windowsill at 18-21°C to encourage germination. Once the seedlings are large enough, pot up into individual pots. Once all risk of frost has passed grow on outside or alternatively grow in greenhouse.
Aftercare:
Support and remove side shoots to encourage best cropping. Water and feed with high potash liquid feed once flowers form.
