Common Name: | African Marigold |
Plant Type: | Half-Hardy Annual |
Position: | Full sun |
Height: | 30cm |
Spread: | 20cm |
Growing Info: Sow inside from Feb-April on the surface of good seed compost. Only cover seeds with dusting of compost as light aids the germination process. Keep in propagator or a warm window sill at 20-24°C. Grow on in cooler conditions and pot up when large enough to handle before gradually acclimatising them and planting out 30cm apart, ideally in a sunny position once risk of frost has passed. Or sow where they are to flower in May-June. |
|
Aftercare: Pick flowers regularly and remove any deadheads to extend flowering season, no need for feeding. |
