Latin Name: | Raphanus sativus 'Longipinnatus' |
Position: | Full Sun to Partial Sun |
Height: | 15cm |
Spread: | 10cm |
Growing Info: Sow June-Sep where they are to crop, 1.5cm deep in pre-watered, well-drained soil, rows 30cm apart. Gradually thin seedlings to 10cm apart, pulling up baby roots earlier to make room for larger roots to grow for later harvest. Sow every 2 weeks for continual supply in autumn. Requires full sun. |
|
Aftercare: Lift all roots by the end of autumn, or before any hard frosts. Store in boxes of sand and use over the winter. |
