A Grandiflora group Sweet Pea, smaller and more delicate that some of the more modern varieties, this Sweet Pea really packs a punch with fragrance and still makes a beautiful cut flower – with less flowers per stem and shorter stems it's best for smaller posies. An early flowered variety that starts flowering in May.

Growing Info:
Sow under glass Oct-Apr. Soak seeds 24hrs prior to sowing to aid germination. Sow in deep trays, pots or root trainers, 1cm deep, and propagate at 20-25°C. Grow on in cooler temperatures and acclimatise before planting out when risk of frost has passed. Sow outdoors Apr-May in drills, 2.5cm deep, 8cm apart. Pinch out the top once the 2nd set of leaves appear to encourage side shoots.
Aftercare:
Keep cut flowers out of direct sunlight for longer vase life.
