Growing Info: Can be sown under cover all year round for young kale salad leaves, or started early Jan-March for planting out May-July. Sow 2 seeds per module and thin out the weaker seedling. Transplant once large enough. Sow outdoors March-June, thinly into drills 1.5cm deep in a well-prepared seed bed. Thin out young plants to 45cm. For mature plants, transplant into rich, fertile soil 60cm apart and protect with netting or horticultural fleece. |
