A popular variety which will produce a constant supply of large, straight, smooth skinned, mild tasting fruit. It's an all-female variety with outstanding resistance to powdery mildew, leaf-spot and scab, winning it an Award of Garden Merit. Best grown supported indoors, however will tolerate a sunny, sheltered spot outside.

Growing Info:
Sow indoors Mar-May or outdoors from May-Jun. Sow 3 seeds vertically, 1cm deep, per 8cm pot of moist, seed compost. Keep at 20°C for germination. Thin out to strongest seedling per pot and grow on at cooler temperatures of about 15°C, keeping young plants protected from direct sunlight. If growing outside in sheltered spot acclimatise before planting when risk of frost has passed.
Aftercare:
Cucumbers benefit from thorough watering. Start feeding once first two fruits have started growing. Harvest cucumbers when they are young and tender.
