Growing Info:
Sow where they are to flower Mar-May, in finely raked soil, 3mm deep in drills 30cm apart. Thin seedlings out to 15cm. Alternatively, sow under glass Aug-Oct into moist seed compost and cover with a thin layer of soil, then overwinter for stronger plants and an earlier show of flowers the following year.
Aftercare:
Cornflowers do not need to be fertilised and like to be crowded. Regularly deadhead or cut flowers for the vase to encourage further blooms.
