Growing Info: Sow indoors during Feb-Mar in pots or trays and cover lightly with a thin layer of compost. Germination is typically within 2-3 weeks at 20C. Transplant into individual pots and grow on in cooler conditions. Harden off the plants before planting outside once risk of frost has passed. Feed well and block plant 30cm apart so that the crowded planting shades and protect the stems of the neighbouring plants. |
|
Aftercare: Water well throughout the growing season and feed regularly. The outer stalks can be harvested as the plant matures. |
