Growing Info: Sow inside during Mar-May in good quality seed compost with a light covering. Germination can be slow, and can take up to 3 weeks, ideal temperature for germination is 18C. When large enough to handle prick out the seedlings into individual pots or 5cm apart in trays. Grow on in cool conditions and plant outside once all risk of frost has passed. Plant 20-25cm apart. Can also be sown direct wherte they are to grow in May-Jun and thinned to 20-25cm spacing. |

Aftercare: Grows best in rich soil and constant moisture level which will ensure a good crop. Frosts will improve the flavour of the root. |
