A bright orange Pot marigold which is very attractive to bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects. Edible petals are great used in salads and to hot dishes such as soups. They are useful as edging planting both for borders, paths and in the kitchen garden adding a splash of colour and a magnet for useful pollinators.

Growing Info:
Sow where it is to flower April to May by sowing in drills sparingly 10mm deep in well-prepared seedbed. Can also be started off under cover in trays or pots and transplanted when large enough to handle. Can be sown in Aug-Oct and kept under protection over the winter for an earlier flowering display the following year.
Aftercare:
Cut flowers every few days and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. If seedheads are left it will self-seed.
