Common Name: | Nasturtium |
Plant Type: | Half-Hardy Annual |
Position: | Full Sun |
Height: | 30cm |
Spread: | 90cm |
Growing Info: Best sown directly March-June. Finely rake and water soil before sowing 1.5-2cm deep. Thin seedlings out to 30cm apart when large enough to handle. Keep watered until established. Can also be sown indoors Feb-May in individual pots of seed compost. Gradually acclimatise before planting out when risk of frost has passed. |
|
Aftercare: Keep well-watered. Nasturtiums prefer poorer soil. Regular fertilising will result in increased foliage growth at the expense of flowers. |
